Hotel Operations Director

Our client, owner and investor of Blow Up Hall Hotel in Poznań is seeking for an experienced hospitality Operations Director. This high-end boutique hotel is currently undergoing a complex interior re-design, ahead of the upcoming re-opening in the fall of 2024. Once open, it will offer unique rooms, one-of-a-kind event opportunities and creative fine dining, in a space infused with art and culture, to craft wonderful experiences and special memories.

The person in this role will be fully responsible for the development of daily operations, profits, budgets, team management, cost management and process optimization. You must have a strong background and passion for hospitality, and demonstrate a proven track record of delivering best results in your previous assignments. For a successful candidate, it is essential to demonstrate a healthy balance of highly developed soft skills and a result-driven personality. We are a small, dedicated team of passionate players, so a team fit is a must.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day hotel management and team development across all levels
  • Creating sales plans for the hotel, including P&L, forecasts, and budgeting with The Board
  • Strong collaboration with Marketing & PR Director to deliver successful brand campaigns and create one-of-a-kind guest experience
  • B2B client acquisition
  • Developing and overseeing customer service strategy, to deliver best in class results
  • Co-creation and successful implementation of the pricing policy in line with agreed KPIs
  • Internal and external reservation system management, incl. cooperation with external service providers (e.g. Booking.com, etc.)
  • Reporting to the Management Board and Owners

To be successful in this role you will need: 

  • Relevant university degree
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in operational hotel and team management
  • Experience and good understanding of tools and processes required for effective hotel operations
  • Leadership skills
  • Understanding of 5* boutique environment and clientele
  • Strong desire to co-create a success story
  • Fluent in Polish and English
