Our client, owner and property manager of a retail and shopping centres around whole Europe, is currently seeking for a candidate to join them in a project for transitions in accountancy and finance area. This job is completely remote/home – office based, and tools (notebook, phone) will be provided by the company. You can work from home in full-time, and you must be fluent in English. Once to twice in 3 months, you will have to travel for 2 weeks on a business trip in one of company branch offices around Europe.
We are looking for 2 employees – one for 1 year contract and second one for 1,5 year contract. There is a possibility of extending the agreements later on.
A new ERP system is being implemented across the Group as part of a strategic finance transformation project, finance operations are being brought in-house onto Yardi systems from external service providers and internalized. These operations are currently run in whole Europe. Whilst one of the retail centers is already working on Yardi, the intention is for the finance team to form a regional hub supporting the other centers in the transition onto Yardi. As such, there is an immediate resourcing need to strengthen the finance team to accommodate the upcoming transition.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation and experience in accounting, closing, and reporting procedures. The crucial experience here is however required within ERP systems implementation. The candidate will have good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude, working as part of a finance team to deliver best-in-class support to the retail centers. Directly reporting to the Group Finance Transformation Director, will assist in the implementation of the new group ERP platform, together with coordinating the user’s support by providing training and assistance to seek continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities:
Implementation:
• Work proactively and cooperatively with the project team to deliver project artefacts within agreed schedule and expected quality.
• Supports gathering and documentation of business requirements from the user groups across the organization.
• Assists providing direction to vendor for the configuration of the new Group ERP concerning Finance, Leasing, and Retail.
• Support data conversion tasks from legacy systems including business validation to ensure business continuity at cut-off date
• Report on regular status about project progress and vendors assistance.
Users support:
• Support delivery of user training hand books and provides regular training to end-users.
• Provides ERP system support and troubleshooting for all business areas.
• Acts as a team resource specialist, detects and propose solutions to increase efficiencies.
• Keep track of all users’ requests ensuring accurate records are maintained of request, action taken and outcome.
• Being able to address issues to the right departments, vendor and consultants and manage the entire life cycle of new requirements and requests for change.
What are the requirements?
• Similar and demonstrable experience with ERP implementation and daily support to users.
• Functional experience with AR, AP, GL modules will be ideal.
• Results oriented with a demonstrated ability to work independently and execute goals with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinking leveraging technology to drive process improvements.
• Proactive and positive attitude.
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Experience in Yardi systems implementation will be a huge asset!
