Our client, a well-known general contracting company, with its offices around Poland, is currently looking for the person for the Sales Director position. This is an independent role (without a team) with multidisciplinary cooperation with other departments. We are looking for a person to be responsible for southern market in Poland to be ideally based in Katowice or Kraków or Wrocław.

The company is focused on investment in industrial and logistics projects mainly, but also in the commercial projects such as retail, hotels, data centers, car saloons, as well as public projects (PPP).

Sales Director will be responsible for the acquisition of new clients while having expertise in the field of development & project management of construction projects. It is crucial for you to be highly skilled in sales and client management, as well as be familiar within technical aspects of construction processes and available solutions.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acquiring new clients for projects in Poland.
  • Building new sources of projects acquisition.
  • Participation in brand’s value creation.
  • Close collaboration with legal, technical, construction; and finance departments in terms of projects acquisition.
  • Collaboration with price estimations department and cost managers, PMs, etc.

Requirements that you must fill to be a part of this recruitment are:

  • 7+ years of experience on similar position at general contracting company / technical sales / project management 
  • Experience in construction projects is a must.
  • Highly developed sales attitude, proactive client’s approach.
  • Close cooperation with architects, project designers, PM companies, developers as well as Special Economic Zones (SSE), investor hubs, business mixers and other events.
  • Very good English – written and spoken – used daily at work with investors / clients.
  • Very good knowledge about general contracting market in Poland.
  • Full independence, self-steering type of personality, very well organized and able to manage his/her own actions and plans.
  • Business oriented attitude with highly developed communication skills.
  • Customer oriented approach;
  • Ability to work in non-standard time and travel around Poland.
