Head of Development – office & residential

Our client, International fund and developer company with its branch office in Warsaw is currently looking for Head of Development.

The company is focused on investment in office building projects mainly. The person on this position will be responsible for overall management and leadership over developer’s business in Poland within pre-development, development & project management up to work permit stage of a new projects such as greenfield but also brownfield (re-developments).

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervision over all running projects, often more than two at the same time
• Cooperation with legal, technical, construction and finance departments in terms of project development
• Estimation of project costs, creating analyses such as technical due diligence, feasibility studies
• Obtaining all necessary approvals and permits (local zoning plan, building permit)
• Cooperation with the architects and project verification
• Organizing bids, negotiating with General Contractors, choosing subcontractors
• Maintaining control over whole investment process (predevelopment, development, project management, costs, time schedules, budgets)
• Leading a small team of development and project management experts

Requirements that you have to fill to be a part in this recruitment are:

• Min. 5 years of experience on similar position at international developer company in the development department as Development Manager or similar role
• Experience in working with office / industrial / retail projects
• Very good English – written and spoken – used in daily work
• Experience in working on as well greenfield and brownfield projects
• Experience in creation of technical due diligence reports, feasibility studies, etc.
• Business oriented attitude with superb communication skills
• Ability to work in non-standard time and travel around Poland
