Our client, one of the middle size international companies based in the environment of personal transportation, is currently looking for a person on the Operations Director role, to strengthen their team in Poland with HQ in Warsaw.

The person on this position will be fully responsible for further development of company profits (P&L), budgets, team management, cost management and optimization. Due to these requirements, it is essential for you to have highly developed soft skills and to be a data driven person as well.

You will work with the Management Board Members on a daily basis, therefore you have to be proactive and be able to unburden them with operational management of the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • creation and implementation of cross-divisional standards and practices in the field of communication and daily cooperation for almost few different departments (service, operations, rentals, finance, etc.),
  • ability to implement change management in the company and build team’s awareness of the data-driven company approach – working with data analysis, suggesting adjustments based on data, working with KPIs and other performance measurement methods to maximize both the results and costs management,
  • close cooperation with IT department to create and implement tools leading to cost optimization in short- and long-term plans,
  • daily team management – managers of departments, white- and blue-collar employees,
  • reporting and daily cooperation with the Board Members and CEO,

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • higher education,
  • at least 8 years of experience in operational company and teams’ management is a must,
  • experience and good understanding of tools and processes required for effective company management, P&L management, budgeting, as well as standards implementation,
  • highly developed team management soft skills, knowledge of team management measurement tools, ability to inspire, motivate, adapt changes, and team integration, etc.
  • you should have experience in the industries such as: couriers, delivery, transportation, ride-hailing, logistics, car rentals, fleet management,
  • strong analytical skills, ability to work on data, create assumptions and suggest improvements,
  • good English, MS Excel literacy, driving licence, ability to travel around Poland and CEE,
