Procurement Expert / Manager (m/f) – real estate fund

Procurement Expert is a Managerial level position that is a part of Procurement Department and will report to Strategic Sourcing Team Leader outside Poland. The department itself is quite young within the structures so you need to be able to adapt quickly to changes and new challenges.

The department in Poland will consists of 2 sourcing experts while in future it will expand. The person on this new position will be responsible for all tasks related to procurement of mainly services (facility management, utilities, marketing, etc.) as well as for products and equipment.

We’re looking for open – minded people, with creative and proactive approach towards new challenges, systems, tools, aimed at simplifying what can be simplified. You must be resilient and persistent with business-oriented attitude – as you will be working in between – vendors and internal clients.

Main responsibilities:

· Conducting tenders in line with the Procurement Procedures and according to the current strategies of the company.

· Receiving procurement requests from the internal customers and prepare the acquisition process, establishing the Rfx package (timing, selection criteria, sourcing project team, suppliers list, etc.)

· Develops, implements, and improves sourcing strategy for specific categories.

· Generates cost reduction and cost avoidance out of defined sourcing strategies.

· Leading negotiation session with suppliers using customized tactics, to ensure cost-effective purchasing of required goods and services.

· Drives continuous improvement in QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) of procurement product or services in alignment with the respective category strategies.

· Manages and optimize supplier performance in terms of increasing provided service level and reduction of total cost of ownership (TCO).

· Creates and maintains mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback and continuous improvement through adequate performance management tools for assigned categories.

· Actively manages contracts within the respective category.

· Creates and reviews Master Agreements and other type of contracts.

· Proactively tracks expiring contracts and plans/initiates re-negotiations prior to expiration.

· Actively collaborates with Group’s internal departments.

· Drives world-class performance from supply base.

· Negotiates, prepares, and finalizes contracts and agreements for assigned categories with legal support.

Professional Experience

· Min. 3 years of relevant work experience (purchasing and/or Supply Chain Management).

· University degree.

· English and Polish – advanced level used at daily work.

· Strong influencing and networking skills with an all-encompassing leadership style.

· International, multi-site environment with understanding of different cultures and traditions.

· Experience in running multi-staged and complex negotiations.

· Experience with customers and suppliers.

· Knowledge of contract layout and relevant legal aspects.

· Experience in real estate sector and/or understanding of commercial property sector will be an advantage.

· Procurement Professional Certifications (NLPA, CIPS or any other procurement globally recognized certification) – will be an asset.

· Microsoft Office Package literacy – advanced level.
